Mineral Processing

As dispersants, polyphosphates allow increased loading of clays and easier handling of the slurries prior to spraying and pressing. The lower water contents involved also offer advantages when drying the pressed units. SHMP, TSPP, STPP and KALIPOLS^® can all be used for this application with the product being selected on a case by case basis. Orthophosphates can also be used in the prevention of colour reversion.
